I anguished over the decision to proceed, postpone, or cancel the Retiree/Corned Beef Dinner entirely. With the COVID cases at their highs again, I had to take the safety and wellbeing of all involved and make the distressing decision to postpone the dinner. This decision did not come lightly it was only after days of intense back and forth thoughts. I am hopeful the current COVID wave subsides and we can get a date in a few months. I will inquire with our generous host (St Ignatius) if an April date is available.

Let us never forget the name of Officer Ella French. Let us never forget her dedication and service or the professionalism she displaced. Ella’s name will be etched into the Memorial Wall just as it should be etched into each one of us. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Please take comfort in each other as we mourn the loss of one of our own. Thank you Officer Ella French for everything you have given in your far too short time in this world.
