FOP has contacted us to inform our Members they are planning to hold the St Jude March this Sunday, May 16. Location will be at the Memorial as usual, step off will be at 9:30 am, and there will be parking available under the old McCormick Place. It would be great to get a huge turnout. I will not air my thoughts on the Dept/City not holding it again this year that is for another time and place. Our Brothers and Sisters that have been taken from us deserve our respect and their Families deserve to be shown we will never forget. Retirees please feel free to attend and show you support also.

The Chicago Police Sergeants’ Association 59th Annual Golf Outing is scheduled to be held on 09 August 2021 at Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park. Please get your reservations in early. We are hopeful this year’s outing will go off without a hitch. Everything looks good right now. I am sure all of you are like me right now, wanting to get back to normal and seeing old friends. The golf outing would be a great place to catch up with them and co-workers. On your reservation form, please include a valid phone number and email in case we need to contact you. The golf outing is the only fundraising event for the Active Duty Death Benefit. Without your support this worthy benefit will not last. It’s a chance for all of us to finally get together and have some fun for a very good cause. We have set up a Zelle account for payments this year.
