Thank you to all of the participants and sponsors of our Annual Golf Outing and Raffle that supports the Active Sergeant Death Benefit.  Well over 220 golfers and guests enjoyed the day and their generosity was again overwhelming.  The outing and raffle are the only funding source for this benefit that immediately pays $5,000 to the family or loved one of an active member sergeant that passes away.  Without your help, we would be unable to sustain this benefit.  Thanks again for your continued support of this important fund.

Congratulations to the newest members of the Chicago Police Sergeants’ Association that started their academy training on February 6. We look forward to working with them in the near future and wish them all the best in their new assignments.

The Annual Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner, honoring over 90 Sergeants that retired in 2016 will be held on Thursday, February 16 at St. Ignatius College Prep located at 1076 W. Roosevelt Road. The doors at St. Ignatius will open at 1800 with dinner being served at 1830. The dinner is only open to members of the Chicago Police Sergeants’ Association, both actively serving and those who are  retired. Come out to honor these men and women who have combined for over 2,000 years of service to the Chicago Police Department.  If you retired in 2016 and have not yet notified the Association regarding your attendance, please do so as soon as possible.
