The election for the Chicago Police Sergeants’ Association has been concluded and the Election Committee counted the ballots for the Vice President race. The results are 249 votes for Chris Pettis, 161 votes for Eddie Sullins, and 14 ballots were challenged. All other candidates ran unopposed and were declared elected by the committee. The new Board of Directors will take office on January 18, 2018 and serve for the next three years. Congratulations to all of the new Officers and Directors!

The Chicago Police Sergeants’ Association is sponsoring a Group Medicare Supplement option open to all retired Chicago police (of any rank) and their spouses over age 65. Thank you to all of the participants and sponsors of our Annual Golf Outing and Raffle that supports the Active Sergeant Death Benefit.  Well over 220 golfers and guests enjoyed the day and their generosity was again overwhelming.  The outing and raffle are the only funding source for this benefit that immediately pays $5,000 to the family or loved one of an active member sergeant that passes away.  Without your help, we would be unable to sustain this benefit.  Thanks again for your continued support of this important fund.
